We are absolutely delighted to announce the launch of the first in a series of Top Surgery Masterclasses to be delivered by Ioannis Ntanos.
First of its kind Top Surgery Masterclass
Demand for access to gender affirmative care is growing, yet training in this area is largely absent from the curriculum. Surgeons and healthcare professionals wishing to offer their services to trans and gender diverse individuals are dependent on learning from those already practicing in the field.
In response to this need, Mr Ntanos will be delivering a Masterclass on the topic of masculinising ‘top surgery’ on May 26th 2023.
The training is designed for surgeons interested in operating in the field, along with healthcare professionals and those working with gender-diverse patients as part of their referral process or treatment programme.
The day-long session will include:
● A pre-recorded case of top surgery with step by step guidance on the techniques used
● A panel discussion with past patients discussing their experiences, expectations, challenges and outcomes
● A live Q&A
● A discussion on the subject of ethics in gender affirming healthcare with award winning journalist and filmmaker, Freddy McConnell plus guests
Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills to practise the various techniques involved in the different forms of top surgery. Attendees will also get a broader understanding of the challenges faced by trans and gender diverse individuals when seeking access to gender affirming healthcare, as well as some of the broader ethical issues surrounding this topic.
We hope that you will be able to join us for this exclusive training session. Please contact TransMission PR on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to book a place.
If you know of any other doctor, physician, or healthcare professional that you think might be interested in this Masterclass, please feel free to download and send them the flyer below.
