Before the operation
You will require a pre-operative assessment to make sure you are well and fit to have the operation under general anaesthetic. I may not be able to offer you the procedure in a timely manner if the risk of requiring post-operative enhanced support is high.

Covid-19
According to your vaccination status a different pre-operative protocol may be followed.

Assessment
Your preoperative assessment will take place by a specialist nurse most likely over the phone. Bloods will be taken at a Transform clinic as close to your place of residence as possible.

Smoking
Discontinuing smoking six weeks before the operation and for six weeks after significantly improves your chances of an uneventful recovery.
